Avoid at all cost! I was jazzed when booking this very well reviewed B&B in London for a summer trip in early July 22. To say something nice let's say that the ladies that run the place were nice and the location is great, in a great neighborhood not too far from central London. Unfortunately, the positive stops here. First, the toilet in my room did not function. I signaled it shortly after checking in and despite my asking to reception, nothing was done to fix the toilet. Then, there was no sheets on the bed! or covers for the pillows. I asked. But again, no solution was found. Then, walking to the kitchen area, we noticed the butter and cheese was out, the cups were everywhere left dirty. The same cheese ad butter was given the next day and left out all day long in the heat. Needless to say after we noticed, we went ahead and had breakfast outside. Finally, my room was on the street. That street was very passing and I had noise all night long. Not sure if the owners were on vacation, something changed But believe me, dont trust the flurry of positive review. I paid 230 euros a night for this and it was a complete disaster, to stay polite.
Be carefully here. We booked and paid for a room and when we arrived the room was not available. A refund was promised but never received. Not trustworthy.
An utterly charming and welcoming stay. The perfect antidote to all of the clinical 'boutique' hotels out there. Quirky large room in a superb location in the heart of Notting Hill. The staff were friendly and engaging and the breakfast was bountiful. It was like staying at an old Aunt's place. Superb. Will definitely stay again.
It will situated and close to places to eat. It's clean. It also has a semi-private entrance/exit. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Feels safe and is a very short walk to the underground. They serve breakfast to your room with a variety of breads, jams, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, cereal, milk and yogurts. Very convenient and got us spoiled!
